As a long-time client of Carson Wealth Management Group, Ellen advises coaching members to help them implement The Coaching Program and explore other day-to-day practice management issues. “Having been a client since the mid-1990s, I have watched Carson Wealth Management Group grow and adapt. I enjoy sharing that client perspective with my coaching members. Additionally, I served on Ron’s Client Advisory Council and strongly believe in the benefit of such a group to both the advisor and the client participants.”
Ellen graduated from Wayne State College with degrees in Mathematics and Sociology. Prior to joining Carson Group Coaching in 2008, Ellen’s career was with Enron Corp. where she managed a corporate finance group for 20 years and ultimately led the Investor Relations Department for a master limited partnership, now called ONEOK Partners, LP. “Having hired, fired, and managed staff over the years has taught me some valuable lessons I can share with my coaching members. Key staff can make all the difference in the success of a business. Additionally, my Investor Relations experience focused on the importance of clear, accurate, and effective communication to external audiences, such as the clients of my advisors. I believe in a well-thought out and consistent communication plan and enjoy helping my coaching members develop their client communications.”
Ellen is a Nebraska native and has lived in Omaha since college. She is the proud parent of two children: Krystal, who is a speech therapist on the stroke team at a local hospital, and Ryan, who is an attorney with a large law firm in Phoenix. Ellen’s family is her priority, however she has a great circle of friends who share her interests in fine dining, wine, Husker football, travel, animals… and the list goes on.
